Dr. E. Abel Maldonado Ortiz is a doctor specialized in pulmonology and critical medicine with an extensive professional and academic career. He has worked as a senior consultant in different private clinics and has been medical director of the clinical and research area at Neumocritic in San Miguel de Allende, Gto. In addition, he has been a professor of respiratory medicine at the UMSNH and has obtained multiple distinctions, such as the Research Fellowship of the European Respiratory Society in 1998-1999 and several research grants from laboratories such as AMGEN Inc. and Pffizer. Dr. Maldonado Ortiz has published various scientific articles in specialized journals and has presented several papers at international conferences and congresses. Currently, he works as a senior clinical consultant at the Neumocritic Clinic and has participated in important research projects in the field of pulmonology and critical medicine.
