Dentist. Founder of the McMillan Dental Clinic and the Civil Association DentalMex Plan AC

Dr. Anthony McMillan is the President and Founder of the McMillan Dental Clinic and the Asociación Civil DentalMex Plan AC. He is a retired dentist from the United Kingdom of Great Britain, graduated from Kings College LONDON, and has lived in San Miguel de Allende for the last 12 years. His specialty is cosmetic dentistry and he once owned and maintained dental clinics in London, Paris and New York.

He arrived in San Miguel in 2010 and was shocked to see the dire oral health conditions of the underprivileged, especially those living in San Miguel's marginalized communities. In 2012 he founded the DentalMex Plan Civil Association using his own resources to help the poor. It largely focused on fluorosis as it is rampant in most communities due to saturation of fluoride, arsenic, mercury and other elements in the water.

He hired several dentists to serve his patients in exchange for a monthly fee that he paid to each of the 12 dentists he chose. But he soon discovered that they were more interested in the rates they were paid, and less interested in the service they provided to these patients. They paid little or no attention to these patients due to their socioeconomic status. In 2015, he opened a state-of-the-art Dental Clinic here, the McMillan Dental Clinic, which was ranked number one in San Miguel, number four in Mexico and number 74 in the world, according to GCR statistics, General Clinic Ranking .

As owner of McMillan Dental Clinic, he allocates 15% of the clinic's monthly profits to the Association. The association does not receive donations and does not request them. His passion is changing smiles one at a time and he thanks his God Yahusha for the privilege.
