Dr. Haywood Hall

Emergency Medicine Specialist, Ashoka Fellow, Founder and Director of PACE MD, Social Entrepreneur, ACEP Emergency Medicine Hero, IFEM Humanitarian Award Winner, Former Director of ACEP International Ambassador Program, Telemedicine Physician.

Dr. Haywood Hall is an emergency physician and an Ashoka social entrepreneur. He completed two residencies in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM), as well as the International Federation of Emergency Medicine (IFEM), where he has served on several committees.

He has chaired the ACEP International Ambassadors Program and is currently a representative of this institution in Cuba and Mexico. He is a “Hero of Emergency Medicine” by ACEP and has received the IFEM Humanitarian Award.

He is the founder and president of the PACE MD program in Mexico and Latin America, where he has trained or certified more than 41,000 medical providers in life-saving skills. Dr. Hall and his programs have earned many recognitions and awards for their social impact and are well recognized within the impact business ecosystem.

Dr. Hall has cared for thousands of patients through telemedicine systems, is an industry advisor for Telemedicine Magazine, and is the Medical Director of My Telemedicine.

Additionally, it will highlight the strategies and approaches that PACE MD has used to achieve its goals, including focusing on patient needs, collaborating and partnering with healthcare organizations around the world, and utilizing innovative technologies to improve medical attention.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn first-hand how PACE MD has overcome challenges and been successful in the healthcare field and how they can apply this knowledge to their own entrepreneurial projects.

We will talk about the latest trends in digitalization of healthcare, the benefits that this entails and the challenges that arise in the process of adopting these new technologies. Success stories in the implementation of technology in healthcare will also be discussed and the possibilities of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and telemedicine will be explored.
